About the My Number Card Expiration Date

マイナンバーカードの有効期限は在留期間満了日となっています。
在留期間を延長したら,マイナンバーカードの有効期限までに手続きが必要となります。

The expiration date of your My Number Card is same as the expiration date of your visa. If you have extended your visa, you will have to complete the necessary procedures at the city hall before your My Number Card expires.

マイナンバーカードの有効期限までに,新しい在留カードを取得でき,有効期限までに市役所へ来庁することができる方。

○有効期間変更

マイナンバーカードの有効期限を在留期間まで延長する手続きです。
マイナンバーカードの有効期限までに手続きする必要があります。
※手続きはご本人が行う必要があります。
Please come in person to the My Number counter at the city hall before the expiration date of your My Number Card. The expiration date of your My Number Card will be extended to the expiration date of your visa.

必要なもの Things to bring
★マイナンバーカード(有効期限内) My Number Card
★新しい在留カード(在留期間更新後のもの) New Residence Card

マイナンバーカードの有効期限までに,新しい在留カードが発行されない方。

○特例期間延長

在留期間更新までに特例で2ケ月間延長する手続きです。
※手続きはご本人が行う必要があります。
新しい在留カードを取得後、再度来庁し、有効期間変更をお願いします。
Please come in person to the city hall and bring the residence card with "在留期間更新許可申請中" stamped on it. You can extend the expiration date of your My Number Card for another two months through this method.
After getting a new Residence Card, please come in person to the My Number counter at the city hall.

マイナンバーカードの有効期限が切れている場合はカード再発行のための手数料が必要となります。

In case you do not complete the procedure, you will no longer be able to use your My Number Card. A fee will be required to reissue a new My Number Card.
